Cutout cookies

One of my favorite parts of the holidays is the delicious food (duh). This week, I helped my mom make cutout cookies. She had already made the dough, but I cut it out and helped decorate. Here are some photos from that process. Enjoy!

First, we had to pick from the slew of cookie cutters which ones we were going to use

The first bit of dough, rolled out and ready for cutting!

Stars and Candy Canes

Hint: Candy Cane cookies are really hard to transport to the baking sheet. Use lots of flour.

We use every last bit of dough possible.

Mom rolling out some of the next batch

All done and ready for frosting!

I forgot to get pictures of the frosting process... sorry!

Mmmmm..... Cookies!

Merry Christmas, everybody!!
